Europe headlines announcements for markets tonight

May 2, 2017

Attention turns to Europe tonight as they are set to release a host of data.

The vast bulk of data from Europe is manufacturing-related. Tonight’s data includes: Italian, Spanish & Swiss Manufacturing PMI’s, European, German & French Final Manufacturing PMI’s, Italian Monthly Unemployment Rate and European Unemployment Rate. Manufacturing makes up a large part of any economy and Europe is no different. These PMI figures reflect the strength of the manufacturing sector, not only for Europe, but largest national economies within the European Union. It is important for markets to see continued improvement in these numbers as this all contributes to economic growth that will help drag the continent out of its economic malaise it has been in since the GFC.

Other announcements from around the world include: Reserve Bank of Australia interest rate decision, BoJ Core CPI, UK Manufacturing PMI and US Total Vehicle Sales.
