Europe the focus for markets tonight

A relatively busy Monday as far as announcements go, with most of the focus centred around Europe.

There is a host of data set for publication from Europe. This data includes: European, German & French Flash Services PMIs, European, German & French Flash Manufacturing PMIs and German Buba Monthly Report. The PMIs are significant as it reflects the demand from Purchasing Managers in the services and manufacturing sectors. This demand gives a strong indication of the strength of consumer demand within the respective economies. This consumer demand helps lift inflation, which is critical when the ECB looks at its money policy settings.

Elsewhere around the world, the US is releasing its Services & Manufacturing PMIs and Existing Home Sales, China is publishing CB Leading Index while Canada is reporting Wholesale Sales data.
