Relatively quiet day of announcements sees our focus turn to Europe

November 24, 2016

A somewhat quiet day of announcements means we look to Europe for our main set of data releases.

Among the figures set to be released include: German Final GDP, German Ifo (Institute for Economic Research) Business Climate, GfK German Consumer Climate and Belgian NBB (National Bank of Belgium) Business Climate. The GDP figure is crucial to ascertain the economic growth of Germany, Europe’s largest economy. The rest of the data set for release all refer to the general economic outlook from both businesses and consumers. This includes consumer & business sentiment along with consumer and business confidence now and into the future.

Elsewhere, Japan is releasing Flash Manufacturing PMI data, UK is releasing BBA (British Bankers Association) Mortgage Approvals figures, Canada is releasing Corporate Profits figures, meanwhile SNB (Swiss National Bank) Board Member Fritz Zurbrugg is also set to speak.
